From the worldwide recognized tradition of Japanese cuisine
To the local fresh style of San Diego

Ramen & Saké Bar BESHOCK is located in the up-and-coming area of East Village in Downtown San Diego. Our restaurant offers both traditional Japanese and global cuisine and gives them a twist of San Diego flavor by having “glocalization” be at our fore front. We’re using local and fresh ingredients to set up a stylish and newly established Japanese noodle restaurant. Enjoy our variety of ramen (including traditional and specialty), delectable sushi rolls, local craft beers, and premium saké carefully selected by our own Saké Master. BESHOCK is ideal for any occasion; offering lunch, dinner, and bar services. Our name BESHOCK is derived from Japanese word bi-shoku, which means “the beauty of food”; this is a concept we take to heart when preparing out dishes and invite you to experience both the beauty and wellness of our food.
